1. About this policy
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle your personal data. "Cookies" here also covers similar technologies such as your browser's local storage and session storage, which the app uses to function.
3. Consent & your choices (PECR)
Under PECR, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for does not require your consent. The storage we use is either strictly necessary (for example keeping you signed in) or functional (remembering your own preferences). We show a brief cookie notice when you first visit; because we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, this is an acknowledgement rather than a consent choice between marketing categories. You remain in control and can clear or block storage at any time using your browser settings (section 7), though some features may not work without the strictly necessary items.
4. Strictly necessary storage
These are required for the Platform to work securely. They cannot be switched off within the app.

5. Functional storage
These remember your choices to make the app more convenient. They are not used for tracking or advertising.

When you sign out, we clear your session and the cached profile details above. Your other preferences — the cookie acknowledgement, your last search location, and your payment-type choice — stay in your browser until you clear them yourself (section 7).
7. How to manage or clear storage
You can control and delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings — for example to block cookies, clear existing storage, or be warned before storage is set. Guidance is available from your browser's help pages and from the ICO's cookies guidance. Please note that clearing or blocking the strictly necessary items will sign you out and may stop parts of the Platform from working.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform or the law. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
